Are you? 

Are you the effect or the cause
The go or the pause
The silence or applause
disobedience or the laws.

Are you the cause or the effect 
the healing or the wrecked
The heart attack
The galley or the deck.

Are you through thick
Or through thin
The end or the begin
The man or the toy?

Are you the dog or cat
The ball or the bat
The pimp or the ho
The sower or the sowed.

Are you the plain or the crashed
The built in or the bashed
The surprise or expected
The secret not detected?

Are you the question mark
The midnight dogs loud bark
The Terra Incognita
The loyal or the cheater?

Are you the end of the beginning
The rush you feel when winning
The older head hair thinning
A marathon of sinning.

And what's the end of story
I don't think It’ll bore ye
But everything's uncertain 
Hid behind a curtain.

There's you on the train
Your brain, your heart, your name
Your toes on end of foot
But everything's a but!

Are you helpful or a nuisance
A meeting too long, useless
A never ending phoner
The printer without toner.

Are you the poetry without ending 
The road that's always bending
The amnesia of fish
Have you been fucking Trish? 

Am I the poem that cannot finish
The belt that cannot buckle
The bicycle that's flat
The final word on that.
